Charles B. (Chuck) Benvenutti graduated from the
University of Southern Mississippi in 1977 with a
Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration
majoring in accounting. He began working as a staff
accountant in the oil industry while studying for the
CPA exam. Upon satisfactorily completing all parts of
the exam in May 1978, Chuck moved back to the
Mississippi Gulf Coast and began working for the
Internal Revenue Service in Gulfport. After four years
as an IRS agent, Chuck opened a C.P.A. practice in his
hometown, Bay St. Louis, Mississippi.
Chuck has retained membership in the national, state and
local professional C.P.A. organizations since opening
his practice in 1982. He has been active in United Way
of South Mississippi as well as in the Hancock County
United Way, holding board membership and the office of
president in both. He has acted as treasurer for the
Mississippi Gulf Coast Economic Development Council
since 1987. In 1987 Chuck was appointed to the Bay St.
Louis-Waveland School Board and subsequently held the
offices of secretary and president before his terms
ended in 1992. He has been a board member and
co-chairman of Gaits to Success Therapeutic Riding
Center for handicapped children since 1992. Chuck has
been campaign chairman or treasurer for numerous
political campaigns since 1989, the most notable of
which was Rep. Gene Taylor’s campaign for U.S. House of
Representatives. |

Angela Pannell, CPA -

Angela graduated magna cum laude from Mississippi State
University in 1984 with a Bachelor of Professional
Accountancy Degree. While a student a Mississippi State,
she was a member of Beta Alpha Psi accounting honorary.
Angela worked as a graduate assistant during her first
year of master’s degree work. She obtained a Masters of
Science in Accounting from the University of New Orleans
in December, 1985, working her last semester with
Charles B. Benvenutti, CPA, PA.
During more than 18 years with Benvenutti, CPA, PA
Angela has worked extensively with all aspects of tax,
payroll, and client write-up. As a QuickBooks
Professional Advisor, Angela has worked with QuickBooks
since the very first version (DOS-Level 1).
In January, 2003, Angela was appointed to serve a 5 year
term on the Mississippi State Board of Public
Accountancy. She is in active member of Main Street
Methodist Church, currently serving on the Pastor Parish
Relations Committee. She is a past treasurer of Coast
Episcopal Parents Organization, Toast to the Coast, and
the Hancock County MSU Alumni Association.
Angela served as treasurer for the Committee to Elect
Judge Carter Bise for Chancery Court Judge, Place 4 and
past assistant treasurer for Congressman Gene Taylor’s
first two successful campaigns.
Angela also holds a license as an agent for Life and
Health Insurance in the state of Mississippi. |

Shari Breeden, C.P.A. -

Shari Breeden graduated with honors from the University
of Southern Mississippi in 1995 earning a Bachelor of
Science degree in Business Administration with emphasis
in accounting. She is licensed as a C.P.A. in
Mississippi. Shari also holds an Associates degree in
Applied Science-Drafting Technology.
Shari has been employed with Charles B. Benvenutti
C.P.A., P.A. since 1993. Prior employment experience
includes office management, specialized technical
support, personnel administration and drafting.
Shari was elected to serve as Treasurer of the Hancock
County Chamber of Commerce for 2003. She is a member of
Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church and holds
membership in the Mississippi Society of Certified
Public Accountants.

Rebecca Eldred, C.P.A. -

A native of Hot Springs, Arkansas, Rebecca (Becky)
Eldred graduated from the University of Arkansas at
Fayetteville in 1988 with a Bachelor of Science degree
in Business Administration, majoring in accounting.
Becky has over 15 years of public accounting experience
with a concentration in tax preparation, tax research,
client write-up and payroll tax. She has been employed
with Charles B. Benvenutti CPA,PA since November of 1997
and is certified to practice in both Louisiana and
Mississippi.
Becky is the Treasurer of the North of the Lake Parent’s
Club in Slidell, LA. She is a member of Aldersgate
Methodist Church in Slidell where she has served as
Sunday school teacher and Children’s Choir Director.
Also, Becky is a member of the Mississippi Society of
Certified Public Accountants. |
